Litigation Counsel and Litigation Group Manager - ARDC

 Approved for 1 Mental Health & Substance Abuse CLE credit

This presentation will examine the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission’s reports and statistics as they pertain to lawyers licensed in Illinois. We will look at mental health and attorney wellness issues, with some tips on practicing law and self-care simultaneously. Finally, we will examine how to assist others, whether it be colleagues or the ARDC, when it comes to issues of mental health and wellness.

Jonathan M. Wier

Jonathan is a Litigation Counsel and Litigation Group Manager with the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (“ARDC”). He is responsible for investigating charges of attorney misconduct and prosecuting disciplinary cases. Jonathan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance, with a bachelors’ degree in economics and then received his JD from the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Prior to joining the ARDC in 2015, Jonathan worked for two Chicago law firms where he was a commercial litigator with extensive experience in utility regulation.
